Welcome + What Happens Next
First, thank you for trusting me with something so meaningful. Your wedding day is more than a date on a calendar. It’s a collection of moments, people, and emotions that deserve to be remembered with intention. I’m genuinely honored to be the one documenting it for you.
From the moment you officially booked the Signature Day Collection, your date was reserved exclusively for you. This means full access to my experience, guidance, and care throughout the planning process and on your wedding day itself. You’re not expected to know how everything should flow or photograph best. That’s what I’m here for.
Below is a simple overview of what you can expect as we move forward together.

Engagement Session Planning
We’ll begin by planning your engagement session, which is designed to feel natural and unforced. I’ll help you choose a location and timing that reflects your story and photographs beautifully. This session also allows you to get comfortable in front of the camera and experience my approach long before the wedding day.
Timeline Collaboration
As your wedding weekend approaches, we’ll work together to build a thoughtful photography timeline. I’ll guide you through considerations like lighting, pacing, and buffer time, all with the goal of creating a relaxed, seamless flow that allows you to stay present while everything unfolds naturally.
Wedding Week Touchpoints
In the weeks leading up to your wedding, I’ll check in to confirm final details and make sure everything feels aligned. By the time your wedding weekend arrives, you can trust that nothing has been overlooked.
Gallery Delivery Expectations
After your celebration, you’ll receive a small preview of your images, followed by your full, carefully edited gallery delivered within the timeframe outlined in your collection. Every image is refined with intention, preserving the emotion, movement, and atmosphere of your weekend.
My approach blends documentary storytelling with gentle guidance, allowing your wedding day to unfold naturally while still being photographed with intention. I focus on emotion, movement, and connection, the moments that matter most and can’t be recreated.
At times, I’ll step in to guide you into beautiful light or offer simple direction. Other times, I’ll step back completely so moments can happen as they are. This balance ensures you never feel staged or interrupted, yet always supported.
This approach creates images that feel timeless and honest, capturing not just how your wedding looked, but how it felt.
Engagement Session Prep Guide
Your engagement session is meant to feel natural, unhurried, and reflective of who you are together. It’s not about performing for the camera, but about creating space to move, connect, and be present while I document the in-between moments.

A link is included here to schedule your engagement session at a time that works best for you. Once you’re on the calendar, I’ll guide you through final details like location, timing, and wardrobe so everything feels aligned.
-
The best locations are ones that feel like you. This could be a place that holds personal meaning, an environment that matches the tone of your wedding weekend, or a setting that simply allows you to feel relaxed and yourselves.
As part of the Signature Day Collection, travel fees to my curated bucket list engagement locations are included at no additional cost. These locations have been thoughtfully chosen for their light, landscape, and visual impact:
Oregon Coast
Swan House
Bonneville Salt Flats
Otter Cliff, Coastal Maine
If one of these locations resonates with you, you’re welcome to select it knowing travel is already covered.
-
Light plays a major role in how your images feel. Sessions are typically scheduled in the early morning or close to sunset when the light is softer and more flattering. I’ll help you choose the best time of day based on your location and the overall mood you’re drawn to.
-
Think coordinated, not matching. Soft neutrals, warm tones, and natural textures photograph beautifully.
Movement is key, fabrics that flow, layers, and pieces that allow you to walk, sit, and interact comfortably. I’m always happy to help review outfits if you’d like guidance.
-
You don’t need to worry about posing. I’ll guide you with simple prompts that encourage natural movement, conversation, and connection. We’ll walk, pause, laugh, and take breaks as needed. The goal is for the session to feel more like time spent together than a formal photo shoot.
-
Your engagement photos can be used in a variety of ways, including save the dates, wedding websites, guest books, and day-of paper goods. They also become a meaningful part of your overall wedding story, capturing this chapter before the celebration begins.
-
If it helps, think about the overall energy you’re drawn to:
Editorial: refined, intentional, fashion-forward
Playful: lighthearted, relaxed, full of movement
Intimate: quiet, emotional, deeply connected
There’s no right or wrong approach, and most sessions are a blend. Sharing what resonates with you helps me photograph the session in a way that feels most authentic to your relationship
Photography Timeline Guidance
Your wedding planner or coordinator will take the lead in creating the overall structure of your wedding day. Once an initial outline of the day is in place, my role is to help ensure the photography portions of the timeline are thoughtfully supported.
Rather than building the full schedule, I offer guidance around timing, light, and flow so your images reflect the pace and feeling you want your weekend to have.
How We Work Together
After your planner has created a preliminary timeline, we’ll schedule a photography timeline consultation. During this conversation, we’ll review the timeline together and focus specifically on:
Time allocated for getting ready photographs
Portrait timing and pacing
Ceremony coverage considerations
Golden hour opportunities
Natural buffer time to keep the day feeling calm
This collaboration allows your planner to manage the logistics while ensuring the photography portion of the day is aligned with your priorities and the natural rhythm of the celebration.
A Thoughtful Approach to Flow
I’ll offer recommendations based on lighting, movement, and transitions throughout the day. In some moments, small shifts in timing or spacing can make a meaningful difference in how your images feel without changing the structure of the day itself.
The goal isn’t perfection or rigidity. It’s creating space for real moments to unfold while protecting your peace and preserving the story of your wedding weekend as it naturally happens.
Timeline Consultations happen about 30 days before your wedding! Ready to schedule your timeline consultation? Use the button below!
Details, Family Portraits/Shot List & Film
A few small details make a meaningful impact. Keeping important items like your invitation suite, rings, heirlooms, vow books, and florals together on the wedding morning allows them to be documented with care.
A simple family photo list helps this portion of the day flow calmly and efficiently, with gentle guidance throughout.
Film photography is thoughtfully woven into your coverage alongside digital, capturing movement, emotion, and texture in a way that adds depth and character to your final gallery.
-
If you’re able, keep your invitation suite, rings, heirlooms, vow books, and any meaningful extras together on the wedding morning.
Florals and intentional details photograph beautifully when they’re easy to access, and this small step helps set the tone for the story of your day.
When possible, keeping the getting ready space clear of unnecessary people and visual clutter allows the room to feel calm and light-filled, which photographs beautifully.
-
A simple family photo list keeps this portion of the day calm and efficient. Most couples aim for a concise set of groupings. I’ll guide the process, keep things moving, and make sure it feels organized rather than overwhelming. A fillable family photo list is included to make this easy.

35mm film is woven into your coverage alongside digital photography. Film excels at capturing movement, emotion, and texture, especially in thoughtful light. Because film relies more heavily on timing and lighting, not every moment is photographed on film, but when it is, it adds depth and character to your final gallery. Film scans are delivered after development and carefully integrated into your collection.
After your wedding weekend, your images are carefully curated and edited to reflect the story, emotion, and atmosphere of your celebration. Every photograph you receive is selected and refined with intention.
Sneak Peeks
You can expect a small preview of images within 48 hours of your wedding. These offer an early look at your weekend while the full gallery is being thoughtfully completed.
Full Gallery Delivery
Your complete, hand-edited gallery will be delivered within 8-12 weeks. Film images are included once developed and scanned, and are seamlessly woven into your final gallery.
Gallery Access & Preservation
Your gallery will be delivered digitally through a private online link, making it easy to view, download, and share. All images are safely backed up to ensure long-term preservation.
Print Rights & Albums
Your collection includes personal print rights, allowing you to print and share your images freely. Heirloom albums and print products are available and can be customized after your gallery is delivered.
About Unedited Images
To maintain the integrity of the work you’ve chosen me for, only fully edited images are delivered. This ensures consistency, quality, and a finished gallery that reflects the experience of your wedding weekend.
After the Wedding: Gallery Delivery
As your wedding day approaches, remember that your only responsibility is to be present. To soak in the moments, the people, and the feeling of it all. Everything else has been thoughtfully considered and supported along the way.
Thank you for trusting me with something so personal. Documenting your wedding is an honor I don’t take lightly, and I’m deeply grateful to be part of this season with you.
If questions come up or you need anything at all, I’m always just an email away. I’m here to support you, guide you, and preserve your story with care.
